Investigator for this international project, I am responsible for the
coordination, administration, planning, design and leadership, in collaboration
with the Co-Investigator at the Université du Québec à Montréal, and the two
Collaborators at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and at Lewis
University in Chicago, USA. I have lead responsibility for the
conceptualization, implementation and analysis of the survey instruments,
including online questionnaires and protocols for interviews and focus-groups.
I have a post-doctoral student, a doctoral student and an undergraduate student
at Lakehead University (Orillia) under my direction, and am part of the
research team in Montréal, which includes two Master’s level students. I have also
cultivated research samples in Latin America and in many other regions of the
world in sync with my Australian colleague, with whom we have developed the
Global Doing Democracy Research Project.
